Jill Kingston, Founder of Brigids's Path: Facing Financial Crisis

EP # 121: In a follow-up interview, Host Dan Edwards returns to Brigid's Path in Kettering,Ohio  to speak to founder Jill Kingston about her unique facility, one of only five health care organizations in the country providing specialized care for babies and mothers exposed to Substance Use Disorder Problems. For the past eight years, Brigid's Path has walked along side these struggling moms by providing a full nursing staff with 24/7 care providing therapeutic handling of their babies while going through painful withdrawal and unwavering support through their eventual recovery. Due to funding changes, their future is in question as they have been forced to make heartbreaking cut-backs, turning away desperate moms and their babies. Financial help is needed now to keep this important service that shares grace for the past, support for the present and hope for the future.
